Anthony Zaccagnio is Thunderbird FC’s Technical Director and Head Coach of the U15 Boys team. He holds his US Soccer National D License and is SafeSport certified.

Anthony has been coaching on the Arizona youth soccer scene since 2003. He spent nine years coaching for Sereno Soccer Club, now Real Salt Lake, coaching U9-U12 girls. He was named the Girls Coach of the Year in 2011 by the club for his natural ability to develop players who are new to the sport. In 2013, he began his stint at SC Del Sol coaching U9-U11 girls for four years. Anthony then brought his talents to Valparaiso Futbol Club where he coached U8-U12 boys and girls for two years. He was also the Xavier College Preparatory Freshman Team’s Head Coach for six consecutive seasons from 2015-2021.

Anthony served as captain for South Mountain Community College in 1986 & 1987 where he also earned his AA Degree. He and his wife Amy, have co-owned and operated AZ Aviation Services for 24 years, positively impacting the aviation industry in Phoenix, Arizona, and the United States at large, for over two decades.
