We are a family-run 501(c)3 youth soccer club!

Our Club Philosophy is made up of three pillars: Safety, Development, and Fun!

We 2020-2021 three teams were U8 Boys, U9/U10 Coed, and U11/U12 Boys.

All professional coaches hold their National “D” License through US Soccer.

We have a 5-Year Partnership with Adidas as our uniform provider.

We are proud to be a low-cost option for Club soccer, with our fees being 25-30% less than most clubs.

The Club Season starts in mid-August and runs through March. There are weeks off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Teams train twice a week in the evenings, usually starting a 6pm. Practices and home games are at North Phoenix Prep.

A professional TFC coach is assigned to each team at the start of the season. Teams participate in Arizona Soccer Association leagues in the Fall and Spring. League games are Saturday mornings. Teams enter in and play in two tournaments hosted by ASA, or other Clubs, depending on scheduling and availability.

Teams are decided after tryouts in May, after which parents will be able to register for the season, place uniform orders, and finalize payment plans.

Our tryouts for the 2021-2022 season will be on Saturdays, May 8, 15, and 22 from 10:15am-11:15am. It is highly recommended that players attend all 3 tryouts for a thorough evaluation by our staff. Registration for tryouts is now open!

Thunderbird FC prides itself on being an affordable option for Club soccer. Our Fees are 20-30% lower than other North Phoenix Clubs. Our Fees are comprised of the annual Registration Fee, the Uniform fee, Training Fees, and Team Fees. We offer discounts for siblings, as well as Great Hearts students. Minimal scholarship funds are available. Flexible payment plans offered.

2021-2022 Season Fees:

4v4 (2015, 2014) Fees: $180 Registration Fee, $295 (unless returning player) Uniform Fee, $650 Training Fees, $175 Team Fees

7v7 (2013, 2012) Fees: $180 Registration Fee, $295 (unless returning player) Uniform Fee, $725 Training Fees, $200 Team Fees

9v9 (2011, 2010) Fees: $180 Registration Fee, $295 (unless returning player) Uniform Fee, $800 Training Fees, $225 Team Fees

11v11 (2009, 2008) Fees: $180 Registration Fee, $295 (unless returning player) Uniform Fee, $875 Training Fees, $250 Team Fees

The Registration Fee is the lowest among Phoenix youth soccer clubs and includes Arizona Soccer Association and Thunderbird FC registration and insurance costs. The Uniform Fee includes 3 pairs of socks, 3 pairs of shorts, 3 jerseys, a winter jacket, a protective headgear, and an Adidas bag. Our Training Fees overs coaching costs, field rentals, and equipment costs for 7.5 month season. Our Team Fees cover league registrations, referee fees, and tournament entries and other team events for the season.

  • What ages can participate?
    • Experienced Boys and Girls born from 2008-2015 can participate.
  • What Format will my player be playing?
    • U7 and U8 will play 4v4. U9 and U10 will play 7v7. U11 and U12 will play 9v9. U13 and older will play 11v11.
  • What Is Included in the Uniform Package?
    • Players will receive an Unequal Protective Headgear, 3 Adidas jerseys, 3 Adidas shorts, 3 Adidas socks, an Adidas jacket, and an Adidas soccer bag with their initials
  • What happens after tryouts, and if my player makes a team?
    • Coaches will notify each parent after tryouts to inform them about their player and if they made a team or did not. If you player is offered a roster spot and you accept, there will be a mandatory Uniform Sizing and Payment Plan meeting during the first week of June (details TBD).
