Coach Humberto De La Torre Hogan (Coach H for short) is the Assistant Coach for Thunderbird FC’s U13 Boys team, a Goalkeeper Coach for the Club, and a coach for TFC Rec League. He has been involved in coaching youth soccer for 5 years, and has over 10 years of experience in coaching other youth sports. He believes in the philosophy that winning is only secondary, while the primary importance of youth sports is in fostering hard work, commitment, and teamwork. One of his strengths is coaching kids to overcome mental obstacles like fear, anxiety, and lack of confidence.

Coach H is a fan of all Phoenix sports teams, and loves going to live sporting events. When his is not on the field he is fulfilling his duties as Domestic Engineer in the De La Torre Hogan household, he enjoys Strong Man training, weight lifting, and cuddling on the couch with his cats. His favorite activity is traveling with his wife and son.
