Tessa Zaccagnio is the Head Coach of Thunderbird FC’s U8 Boys and U8 Coed teams.
She holds her US Soccer National D Coaching License and is SafeSport +
First Aid certified. Not only is she the head coach for her club team, Tessa
also runs TFC’s Little T-birds program alongside Coach Anthony. Her other
roles within the club include Social Media Manager, and Uniform and Apparel
Designer,
Tessa has a wealth of playing and coaching experience. She is a product of
Sereno and SC Del Sol, having played in ECNL and National League with her
club teams. She won the State championships with Xavier College
Preparatory during her high school career, and continued her playing career
on Northern Arizona University’s club program. Tessa still continues to play
today in multiple small sided leagues. She has worked with Phoenix youth
extensively, acting as a role model at Hubbard Sports Camp, English Soccer
Experience Camp, and the YMCA. Tessa Graduated Magna Cum Laude from
Northern Arizona University in 2018 with degrees in Psychology and
Criminology.
Tessa has been coaching boys for over 3 years and was the Assistant Coach
for a season for Xavier College Preparatory’s Junior Varsity team, as well.
